Dino d’Santiago’s “Eva” is amongst the best World Music albums of 2013 according to Europe World Music Charts’ juries.
The latest album from the cape verdean singer/songwriter was also distinguished at the Cape Verde Music Awards 2014 winning two of the four categories for which it was nominated: Best Acoustic Album and Best Batuko/Kola Sanjon with the song Kabu Tchora.
Eva was released not only in Cape Verde, but also across several other european countries during 2013. The album also features the angolan singer Paulo Flores (“Pensa na Oji”) and the cape verdean Jay (“Nos Tradison”). The co-producer of the album was Dino d’Santiago himself, alongside with Sara Tavares.
Other collaborations include relevant names of the portuguese music scene like Jorge Fernando or Diogo Clemente – Fado producer/songwriter for the likes of Mariza and Carminho.
